New sun by ~Kuroi-kisin "This picture immediately caught my eyes because of it's very unusual choice of colours for an anthro piece and the moody atmosphere. The way it is executed reminds me a lot of those classic oil paintings by old masters in heavy, dust-covered gold frames you find in museums, showing scenes of battle fields. This picture is telling a story, like all good art should do: there is the old and experienced one, teaching the young one that will follow in his footsteps one day. These two lion warriors seem to look into an uncertain dark future; decisions laying ahead that will torn the land apart with war. But there is hope, suggested in form of the young lion as well as in the sunny colour of their faces that sticks out as a bright contrast to the dark and gloomy sky. Highly inspiring...." Amazing picture. Really well drawn you could almost believe it was a portrait of 2 real anthro lions.
